Divisional Hospital Nawagaththegama
ROKY Holdings successfully installed Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Nano water treatment plants at all locations. As a result, students, healthcare workers, and surrounding communities now have access to clean and safe drinking water. This marks a major step forward in public health and overall well-being for the people of Puttalam.
Building a water treatment plant involves more than just materials and construction—it requires expertise and careful planning. Recognizing this, ROKY Holdings places strong emphasis on user education alongside installation. Many systems in similar settings fail due to poor maintenance. To prevent such issues, ROKY actively trains local users in proper upkeep techniques. Through this approach, the company ensures that each plant operates efficiently and lasts longer. In turn, this reduces waste, lowers repair costs, and protects the community’s investment. Ultimately, ROKY’s commitment goes beyond short-term solutions; it focuses on sustainability and long-term value. This initiative empowers local communities with the knowledge needed to manage their water systems independently and responsibly.
On 14 October 2024, ROKY Holdings conducted a successful training program in the Puttalam District. More than 50 participants—including students, teachers, healthcare professionals, and local leaders—attended the session. The training aimed to promote awareness and build capacity for maintaining sustainable water systems.
