ROKY Holdings (Pvt) Ltd proudly completed an Advanced water treatment system in Samanankulam, Vavuniya District. Supported by UNDP funding and commissioned by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB), this project aimed to provide safe and reliable drinking water to a community facing water quality challenges. In just three weeks, our team managed every stage; From detailed water testing and system design to full construction, commissioning, and the integration of a wastewater management system. This initiative demonstrates our dedication to delivering fast, efficient, and community-centered water solutions.
The project commenced with comprehensive water analysis to identify the most suitable purification method for the local groundwater. Based on these findings, our engineers designed a customized Reverse Osmosis system tailored to the community’s needs. Construction progressed under the close supervision of DNCWS engineers, ensuring adherence to the highest safety and quality standards. Our team coordinated civil works, system assembly, and rigorous testing within a tight schedule. Despite unpredictable weather and logistical challenges, field staff and technicians worked tirelessly to complete the project on time. Careful planning and the use of high-quality materials ensured reliable system performance from the outset.
The Samanankulam Water Project now provides hundreds of residents with consistent access to clean, safe drinking water. This improvement greatly reduces the risk of kidney disease and other waterborne illnesses, enhancing public health and overall quality of life. The community can now rely on a dependable water supply, fostering both well-being and peace of mind.
