Chlorine

Chlorine is a strong disinfectant used in water treatment technology. There are different grades of chlorine. Food-grade chlorine is mostly used for water treatment and water-related industries. 70% Calcium Hypochlorite, manufactured by Avachlone- China is currently available. Chlorine is used as a disinfectant in the water industry. Chlorine is added to water to make a chlorine solution. This solution will be dosed into the water using a dosing pump.

Chlorine is used for swimming pools and as a water disinfectant. It is also used for bleaching, in chloride preparation, chlorinated solvents, synthetic rubber, and refrigerants.
