Hybrid type wastewater treatment plant (STP)

Hybrid wastewater treatments generally use two technologies, known as conventional type and package type, which can handle both gray and black domestic wastewater from sinks, showers, and toilets as well as human waste from flushing toilets.

Some of the treatment steps function according to the conventional treatment concept, which consists of a combination of physical, chemical, and biological processes and operations to remove solids, organic matter, and, sometimes, nutrients from wastewater. After the conventional treatment process, partially treated water is completely treated by using a package type treatment plant.
